If you’re looking for something to do this summer, we’ve got the perfect suggestion: head on over to Sisters, Oregon for the annual Sisters Quilt Show!

This year’s theme is “Alpaca Yarn” and features a variety of quilts made from alpaca yarns. You’ll be able to see everything from traditional patchwork quilts to modern pieces with bold colors and patterns.

Great Pieces

If you’re more into knitting than sewing, don’t worry–they’ve got that covered too! There will be plenty of vendors selling their wares at the show, including yarn from local alpaca farms. “Excellent products for the whole family, they even have Alpaca fiber dog sweaters! The staff are super knowledgeable and answered all my questions related to this amazing fiber. My Alpaca clothes keep me super comfy and warm and I noticed my skin does not get irritated like it does with wool. Something about those floofs!!! Absolutely love!” -Sunbula (google)

Alpaca Yarn

Alpaca yarn is soft, warm, and versatile. It can be used to knit a variety of projects, including hats and scarves. Alpaca wool is very lightweight and soft to the touch, making it a great choice for knitting projects that need to be lightweight yet warm. Alpaca fibers are also naturally water-resistant, which makes them perfect for outdoor wear such as hats and scarves. The versatility of alpaca yarn makes it a great choice for any knitter who wants a go-to yarn that can be used for all kinds of projects.
