Some of you may know, we began as a brick & mortar shop in Sisters, Oregon, a quant little mountain town in the foothills of the Oregon Cascades. The store opened in 2007, the doors are still open, and Alpaca by Design remains our foundation.

While we offer a limited selection of the world's most comfortable and durable alpaca products here on our site, we are not a huge conglomerate or corporation - we are a 900 square foot shop run by a small humble team comprised of an alpaca breeder and judge and a professional photographer in small town Oregon.

With this being said, while we can offer some of our most popular products here on the site, and will slowly add more with time, we are currently only able to carry a limited amount of stock of most of our product in order to sell in the shop. So in an effort to offer our web customers a bit of the best of both worlds, from time to time, we will be posting some of the unique products in our physical store on our Instagram and Facebook pages. 

This will include everything from artisan-made and unique scarves, gloves, hats, and cardigans, to sweaters, throws, capes, stuffies and other unique alpaca products. Some of these come from our vendors, some of these we source ourselves directly from the artists that make them both domestically and in Peru.

So however you choose, we thank you for considering supporting our small business as we try to spread the love through alpaca!
