Outdoor/Everyday Socks
When I tell my wife I have to organize my sock drawer, it's not a lie. I sell so many of these outdoor socks, I see them in my sleep.
Outdoor socks are sooo soft and luxurious, why bother with cotton or wool? There simply is no other fiber as soft as alpaca.
These are warm in winter and cool in summer. Huh? How can that be, you ask? If you were to view alpaca fiber under a microscope, you'd find that the hair is hollow. This makes for a great insulator, and in winter allows for cold air to escape while keeping the warm air next to your skin. In summer, the heat escapes helping to keep your feet cool.
Alpaca socks are excellent at repelling water. No other natural fiber sock repels water so efficiently. Alpaca naturally wicks water and body moisture away from skin.
Because alpaca hair contains no lanolin, itÂ’s hypoallergenic. Alpaca socks don't itch.
They are machine-washable.
